For parents who would like to do better.
Pairent helps you capture the real life coachable moments you would otherwise miss.
What Pairent is
Parenting is hard.
It is one thing to read a great parenting book. It is quite a different challenge to later remember and apply those principles, especially in the heat of the moment.
This is where Pairent comes in. A recording device quietly captures the moments you choose over the course of the day (the bedtime meltdown, the car-ride argument, the breakfast standoff), reflects on them overnight, and hands you gentle, practical suggestions the next morning. Grounded in developmental psychology, this is a tool built by a parent (me), for parents.
Inside the app
Your day, gently reflected back.
Daily quotes
I have always tried, but often failed, to write down the interesting/funny/odd things my children say. Pairent can help with this by pulling out a few quotes from each day’s audio, along with the context. You can re-listen to the audio and save or share the best ones.
Drag sideways for the rest of the day’s quotes.
The daily insight
Overnight, Pairent goes back through the moments you captured that day and turns them into a few observations and things worth trying — each one presented alongside the actual moment’s audio.
Keep this one
If you have a day that you want to come back to you can star it and it’s saved to long term Memory.
Full feedback
Rather read than listen? This jumps to the Feedback tab, where the same briefing is written out, moment by moment.
The same briefing
The player follows you across the app, so you can listen to the morning’s insight while you read the moments it was drawn from.
Each moment, unpacked
What happened, what Pairent noticed in it, and one specific thing to try next time. The tag names the parenting book the suggestion is grounded in, so you can always see whose idea it is. You can also listen back to the audio or read the transcript from that moment.
What keeps coming back
Single moments are easy to dismiss. This gathers the ones that repeat across days, so that we can learn about our own patterns.

Your vault
All the quotes, moments and insights you have chosen to keep.
A monthly family newsletter
Once a month Pairent puts together a family portrait of the past month; highlights, milestones and everyday moments complete with photos. If you like you can share these with family and friends.
Access your family memories
If you choose to save your family memories you can query your own personal database here. Where were you when your kid rode their bike for the first time? How many times did you go to the beach last summer? How many teeth were lost at age 6? For the parent who means to keep a daily journal (me) but runs out of time…
What is listening
This says what Pairent is listening through right now. It can be the phone in your pocket, or a small recording device that sits closer to the action.
Recording
Pairent only listens when you choose. Tap to start a session, tap again to stop. Nothing is captured before, and nothing after.

How it works
Three small steps. One quieter mind.
Capture
A recording device listens to family moments — only when you choose.
Reflect
Overnight, Pairent turns those moments into observations and suggestions.
Grow
Each morning, a few small things to try. No pressure.
Why Pairent
Because nobody handed us a recipe.
None of us were trained for this.
Parenting is the most important work most of us will ever do, and we’re often making it up as we go. A little steady, non-judgmental support can change everything.
The hard moments are the teachers.
The bedtime meltdown. The car-ride argument. The sigh you didn’t mean. Pairent helps you turn those everyday moments into small, practical lessons — not lectures.
Small changes, every day.
No five-step systems. No guilt. Just one gentle nudge in the morning, rooted in what actually happened the day before — and the parent you’re trying to become.
On privacy
You decide what’s captured. You can delete anything.
Your family’s data is yours. It is never sold and never used to train anyone else’s model. Pairent is built by parents who would not use anything less.

Questions
Things people ask us.
Pairent uses a recording device that captures audio only when you turn it on — so you decide, moment to moment, when it’s listening.
You pick the parenting book whose approach you want to follow, and Pairent reads the day against that book’s principles. If no book fits, write your own guidance in your own words and it will coach to that instead. Either way the advice is measured against something you chose, not against a standard we invented.
The opposite. Pairent is designed to be a gentle companion, not a critic. We focus on what’s working and offer small suggestions — never shame.
